I've seen this photo used many times to depict Barbara Adie (1797-1877) she married George Rutherford (1804-1876). They were the grandparents of Ernest (Lord) Rutherford (1871-1937).  The photo was included

The two ladies seated on the right are almost certainly two Lawrence sisters who moved to Wakefield in the late 1920's.
The taller second man is Alfred Lawrence, engineer and farmer of Maple Grove in Southland. He was George's younger brother and retired to Wakefield with a number of his siblings.
