Abstract

Noelene Goodman (nee McDonagh) was born in Westport in 1917 to Richard Michael and Olive May McDonagh (nee Flower).  Noelene grew up in Westport  and came to live in Richmond in 1940 after her first marriage to Morrie Fowler, the brother of Fred Fowler. After spending a year in the North Island the couple settled in Richmond, where Noelene has lived in the same house for about 41 years.
